It is interesting...we don't sell it in Sunnyvale...it's not sold in Mesquite (unless you want to drink it in a restaurant)...but that could change...both places are looking into selling beer and wine for off site consumption...
but it's a whopping 5 minute drive into Garland to get my beer...
I just keep forgetting how odd the laws are in the Dallas area...two and a half years in Austin, where it's sold at EVERY store...
and let's not even try to explain to everyone that in the City of Dallas, there are parts of the city that you can buy liquor in...other parts where you can only get beer and wine...and yet other parts that sell NO alcohol...that's the really odd one to me...
but the advantages of Dallas are becoming apparent...since I've been back, I've scored free tickets to tu-OU...my brother-in-law took me to the Stars match tonight...and he's letting me use the ticket that would have been my sisters for Sunday's Cowboys-Pats match-up...
My nephews love the fact that I can make their football and soccer games...my niece was excited that I made it to her volleyball match...
maybe you can go home again....
even if you can't get beer at the corner market!!
