I mean come ON! wearing them down to the canvas, (LITERALLY, I've not seen that since the days when fueling was banned and you just stopped when you couldn't handle the tyres anymore....or the wall jumped out at you), and bellying out in the bleedin pitlane of all places.

Who do I blame? Ron Dennis? His minions? Lewis? Fernando using voodoo? Kimbot using the force on him?

Nope, JAMES FUCKING ALLEN and everyone on the ITV crew except Brundle, who piled the bullshit on all year, with a triple helping this weekend, acting like he'd already won it...FUCKING RETARDS....surely they must have learned from the awful damage Murray Walker caused to so may innocent drivers.

Hammy, is the new Manny, he isnae gonna win a single championship he deserves to.....and will finally get one gifted to him....or something.

Brazil is going to be a fucking BLINDER though isn't it? (My money is on Ferdie there, it allegedly favours the McRon, and let's face it, it's NOT a track you learn in 3 laps, so experience will count).

As we say round here.....

"keep 'er lit big fella!"

Mclaren have always had an uncanny knack of fucking things up at the right minute. Imagine Ron's face if the 2 maccas take each other out in Brazil and Kimi sneaks the championship. Jenson Button had a blinder today and deserves something far better than that tub of shit Honda, like a Spyker..

How was Mansell gifted the 92 world title? Ok he had the best car but he still was miles ahead of the competetion if I recall.

Mansell was streets ahead of his team mate, Riccardo Patrese, but the car was so good that no-one else was going to get a look in. The superiority to everything else was on a different scale to anything seen since, including Schumacher's Ferraris

Exactly Edd, that Williams had the whole lot. And they banned it all the next year (OK, active suspension lasted through 93). FFS I coulda won a race in it

Reminds me of the tale I head about "THAT" overtake, on the way into Stowe corner, where he went to the outside then dived back to the inside like a maniac, and got the place. Apparently, after the race, Patrese (or was it Piquet?) comes blasting into the motorhome, and the team think "uh oh, fight!". He walked right up to Mansell, and grabbed him forcefully by the knackers, exclaiming "I just had to make sure they were real".

Yeah, but im surprised one or two team bosses didnt grab him by the knackers and say: "Shut up you fucking moaning, monotone twat"

I was watching an FIA review (oddly enough 92) the other day....Mansell speaking Italian... OMG I nearly had a seizure laughing.

Losing races cos of an injury from the drivers V journos footie match, and cos he kicked his hotel sock drawer....the man was comic genius.

Ah, that was where he said 'Moto perfecto' in his Brummie drawl yes?

Is it the '91 review where he goes nuts at Patrick Head on the pit wall? I seem to remember 'Im fucked off' being yelled?

Aye that's the one.

And it was Imola 91 I think.

Whinging twat.

A bit like DC, just when I decided I hated him, he'd do something SO mighty I had to like it, then just when I would think I was getting to like him, he'd do someting so pathetic and whiney I'd be force to loath him.

Speaking of DC, I was just reminded of this little exchange from Brazil in 99/00.....

Reporter: It's a very long straight here David, and you're a little down on power, is there anything you can do to keep a following car behind. Dog's Cock: Aye, a wee brake test half way down the straight usually does the trick

My favourite has to be the time DC pitted in Adelaide, locked up at the right hand bend in the pit lane and went straight into the wall. While leading. Murray made the strangest noise

Must confess that crossed my mind this morning watching Lewis beached.

Back in 1986...

Before the last race, Mansell was leading the 1986 Formula One championship: 1-MANSELL...70 pts 2-PIQUET......63 (-7) 3-PROST.......63 (-7)

In 1986, a win was 9 points, a second place 6 points. Piquet and Prost had no other choice than to win...and pray for Mansell scores zero points...

In Adelaïde, Mansell was leading the race when he blows a tire and have to retired. Piquet who was leading, had to change his Goodyears before it was too late. Finally, Prost who have to save fuel, won the race and Piquet finished second.

1-PROST.......63+9=72 pts 2-MANSELL...70+0=70 3-PIQUET......63+6=69

With 7 points less, Raikkonen is in the same situation than Piquet and Prost were. In Brazil, everything is possible...

I remember that race all too well. Can see Hamilton going the same way. However, WTF, who cares, the kid has done QUITE enough (he'd done enough to earn my adoration before he set arse in a Grand Prix car) for ANY rooky.

But I would like to see him get it, especially since, even though I have loads of time for that mental case Kimi, I just cannot stomach a red win. They're about to replace all the foreign staff with Italians, so the rumour goes....that's their last win for a while then, old school chaos-a-go-go, so far they've lost Brawn and Stepney and it's already turned to shit a wee bit.

Stepney has said Ferrari have shitloads of McRon data, so that'll be Renault or BMW as Constructor's champion's then....oh I forgot Rule 1. clause 1. subsection A. of the sporting code:

"no car painted red shall be subject to any subsequent rules".

Yeah the similarities between Hamilton's situation and Mansell '86 are very close. I don't really like or dislike Hamilton but I agree with you Cambo that James Allen/ITV F1's love in with Hammy makes it a little irritating at times - there are 21 other drivers on the grid including 3 Brits!:skeptic: It's set up a nice little showdown at Interlagos and Lewis could well and truly be mugged Mansell style by Fernando and Kimi and let's hope it puts to bed the off track politics which has overshadowed one of the closest (and best) seasons race wise in years. Cheers!:thumb:

You're right. Even if Hamilton didn't bring the driver title this year, he made a HUGE season anyway.

Ho ! really ? I can't remember their names  Everybody have forgotten Button :nonono: only 6 points this year :nonono: what a shame for Honda !

I'm always happy to see Coulthard on the grids. I hope he will made great results next year
