Long time, no see. I apologize for my absence, but you all know that NOOL is always in my thoughts and... hey, is that real funnel cake? With cherry icing? :p
Anyway, I come to you as a geek bearing gifts, or actually pleading for your support. I have been writing for a local (Clemson-area) publication for the past few months, Bootleg. They have a website, bootlegontheweb.com
It's a pretty sweet deal (I do the pop culture column, and I do the site updates every Tuesday night in anticipation of the following day's issue). Only problem is, our print edition isn't getting moved as quickly as we'd like, and the site's traffic is iffy. What I need from you guys if you're so inclined is to go to the site. You can even read stuff on there (though I imagine, if you don't live in the Upstate of SC, a lot of it won't apply to you). If it helps, my column ("Pop Gun") is really, really well-written by the editor after I turn in my hasty drawings and moth-eaten notebook paper.
