Acid Trip

I'd like to hear the same experiment done with a musician.
I once spent a very intimate hour with a guitar having consumed somewhere in the region of 150-200 magic mushrooms (beansprout sized young fresh ones, in case anyone thinks I am exaggerating or was a total muppet).
I kept bending the strings like mad, or so it felt. Making a noise not unlike that often heard in "The Prisoner". It was the loveliest guitar I ever played. Next time I was at the same house, I found a fairly rough Gibson SG copy with action like a double bass and rusted strings 
Only have one memory of playing bass when totally fucked, though I have done it more often. It involved giving up straight away because the strings were, well, string-like, no tension, really mad.
Had a "sympathetic trip" once with 3 mates who had necked 2 or 3 double dipped strawberries, while I had taken none. We recorded a track entitled "beep beep ritchie" in honour of the movie IT (which I hadn't seen 
). I may mp3 it if I can find it, partly because it's a testament to insanity, but mainly because in my odd state of mind, I managed to make the drum accompaniment on a Yamaha portasound, sound like John fucking Bonham, possibly, tho details are sketchy, by using a Carlsboro valvle amp and feeding it's SPEAKER output into the tape deck!!! (very low level obviously, but FFS what a fuckin daft thing to do).
Then one night in about 1992 I had a really bad time on some shrooms and it put me right off forever.

Hmmm, interesting. Is this related to the British TV Documentary Bad trip to Edgewood which showed the trippy after effects of LSD testing on the US army?

Halucagenics never appealed to me after me and my pal Andrea Rossi ate acid and played on an old 70s synthesiser in his garage and then he turned into the devil with horns and everything.

Put on some Syd Barrett solo stuff, or some Alexander "Skip" Spence to witness the sound of LSD on record. Makes you want to stay off the stuff forever. Good records though.

I was listening to the Blue Monday remixes cd yesterday, and I thought of this post...each one seems to be a stage of the band's acid trip stage and in order too....don't ya think?
