Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen becomes the 2007 drivers' champion after winning the Brazilian Grand Prix from team mate Felipe Massa. Fernando Alonso takes third for McLaren, with Lewis Hamilton only seventh after mechanical problems early in the race.

Well done Kimbot. I do not begrudge him the title at all, his TEAM can suck my balls, but Kimi's OK by me.
Lewis had SUCH a bad day. Overagressive teammate, which made him lose his temper and 5 places, then a broken gearbox, then McRon fucking up his strategy.
LOL they installed a "fair play tsar" in the McRon garage to make sure both drivers got fair treatment.....ermmm HELLOOOO this fucking McLaren FFS, I mean they were SO fair and even, that they lost the driver's title. Had they backed Ferdie or Lewis 2 months ago, they'd have won it.
Meanwhile, down the pitlane, the Red Cars make drivers sign fucking contracts that say they must let their teammate through on demand, but that's OK as the rules do not apply to red cars. Speaking of which, how come there was no "fair play tsar" in the Red garage today, when they mysteriously pitted Massa a couple of laps early PURELY so they could send him back out into traffic and make it LOOK like Kimi had ovetaken him by pure chance. Tossers.
Still, a pretty good race, and come ON, who (apart from this morning sewer-press no doubt) thinks Lewis hasn't done enough to be applauded for this year. Mind you, the real trick will be to be just as quick next year, many drivers slow down after their first year, and Lewis has a nasty load of reality on his plate as well.

Not to mention a car built under threat of draconian punishment if any component so much as resembles a Ferrari one. And as McLaren are renowned for being shit one year and competitive the next, i rather feel next year's effort is going to be a complete pig

McLaren has announced that it is to appeal the findings of the Race Stewards at Interlagos, following their decision not to punish Williams and BMW for fuel irregularities.
Just over three hours after the end of the race, it was revealed that the stewards had been alerted to the fact that both teams appeared to have breached Article 6.5.5 of the Formula One technical regulations, which states that: "no fuel on board the car may be more than ten degrees centigrade below ambient temperature."
The move handed Lewis Hamilton a lifeline, for if Rosberg, Kubica and Heidfeld were to be excluded from the results this would hand the Englishman the title by dint of being promoted to fourth place in the race.
That said, a precedent was previously set in the 90s when teams were punished for similar irregularities but not the drivers.
Seven hours after the end of the race the stewards decided not to penalise the teams even though the FIA's technical delegate Jo Bauer reported that the temperature of the fuel samples taken from the cars had exceeded the limits.
McLaren is appealing the decision on the grounds that it doesn't understand how Williams and BMW can be found to have broken the rules but not be punished.
Should the FIA's International Court of Appeal overturn the Race Stewards decision it could disqualify all the drivers involved, which would once again hand the title back to Hamilton.
After a season which has been tainted by the spy saga this is the last thing that Formula One needs. However, having been at the receiving end of the FIA's justice McLaren has every right to question what seems a very strange decision by the Interlagos stewards.

TWICE it seems, not only did he lose his temper with Alonso anf go off, he also appaarently hit the start button during the race, and that's what fucked the gearbox, he had to reboot the car on-track (he had to do that whether it's true he caused it himself or not)
