JAK - West Coaster forever.
The news on the East coast here, is that my old driving instructor (a bespecticled Westsider,he is)is a perv who carrys a twelve inch carrot in his pocket, and naked snaps of himself in the glove box.Turns out he's a total perv who's getting sent down for several sex assualts on women pupils...I'm shocked reading this story in the Gazette,as this guy took me for 2 years, thankfully not up the arse I hasten to add...Just shows you,eh?

Mr. Nuts, I believe Dubya is saving all his bombs for Iran...
either that, or he's fresh out...

Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
Army are in charge cos the country's a fcuking mess.
How many hours was Bhutto in the country before 140 people were slaughtered when her cavalcade was attached by suicide bombers? Have to admire her for sticking around but you can see why the army have taken charge.
Far too big a can of worms to be opened, that gaff.

Its in a bit of state is Pakistan. Main problem is lawless Muslim area of Northern Pakistan, bordering on Afganistan and allegedly the hiding place of Osama.
Bush has been at lengths to keep Musharraf in power, as a peacekeeper more than anything else. The fear of radical Muslims getting their hands on Pakistans nuclear arsenal is quite terrifying. Last year, Musharraf had over twenty attempts on his life foiled.
Bhutto coming back into the country has forced a rethink, as she was keeping the place reasonably stable into Musharrafs coup as few years back. Bush is happy to back her, as he knows she will play ball, hence his call to Musharraf to 'stand down'.
Its difficult to criticise Musharraf because of the intense pressure he is and has been under, but it appears he will be forced back into running the army, hopefully in some sort of accordance with Bhutto running the political side.

that's in india: a hindu practice.
at least there's somewhat of a rapproachement between pakistan and india right now, otherwise they might get out their respective nuclear arsenals.

I'm thinking if the Muslim radicals take over Pakistan, that might overshadow Iran as a threat.
We know they have weapons of mass destruction. We have the receipts.
LOL...yeah they must have bought the nukes cos thick Pakis could never build them. What a load of racist shite.
Pakistan is very probably the only country on Earth that's BETTER off under a military dictatorship.
Kin ell, never had as many quotes to my reply on a post! But to be fair,Musharraf may be a dictator in a muslim country, and has total power/totalitarian rule over his subjects (musharaff is a dictator) BUT,has the backing of the u.s.a,which is strange in itself.surely a strategic move for the middle east no/
What was the question again?

Totally agree. Just might be better for the world than the people that live within.

Bush is just happy to see someone putting so swiftly into action what he's been at work on the last six years: suspend constitutional law in order to fight terrorist threat.

Don't put words in my mouth, Cambo. I never said they were thick.
The US has maintained good relations with Pakistan for decades, including the time when they developed their nuclear capability. Considering our history of selling munitions to whomever we thought was a good idea at the time, it's not too much of a stretch.
