What a bunch of cunts...

I just bought my tickets for Peter Bjorn and John, and it looked like a good deal at first...20 bucks a ticket...

oh...but then they stick on the $7.85 convenience charge per ticket...

then the real kicker...if I print my tickets out myself at home, using my paper and my ink, they are gonna charge me another $2.50...whereas if I let them send me the tickets, using THEIR ticket stock, and THEIR ink, and they have to pay the postage...it's free...

what gives???

seetickets are the bane of my life.

Well, not so much them but that fcuking SMS delivery service they use. Always have stuff delivered to my office and I can be sat here for 12hrs straight and they then always come the very second I disappear off to get a cawfee for 2mins.

It's as if they just know when not to call. :nonono:

bought lawn tickets to a festival a few months ago. $30 face value but ended up $50 when Ticketfuckers got done with it. Can't someone do something about this scam?

I was going to see Morrissey last month, as the tickets were only $20...turned out to be $47 after all the charges, so I said screw it.

I remember Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins and some other bands tried to fight ticket muncher in the mid ninties....what ever became of that?

I spend my nights apologising to people who are freaking our cos their passport didn't arrive and they're travelling in 2 days, only for it to be found that SMS tried to deliver it 2 weeks ago and couldn't be bother telling anyone.

As for Ticket bastard.... Bought tickets for the WRC at Stormont castle next week, and had to provide an email address....can you guess?

sometimes that fooking SMS dont even knock i swear.much rather have to post office nyway because i can pick it up on way to work in the morning instead of re arranging for someone to be in AGAIN

Completely agree - anybody else apart from the post office are completely unable to actually deliver anything to non-business customers...

DHL - ain't no mountain high enough - but they fcukin' can't get to my front door! :crazy:

I don't believe you could buy tickets off the internet from Ticketmaster in the '90s. However, I do recall a $5 charge that Ticketmaster used to do when buying the tickets from them in person -- because you didn't buy the friggin' things over the phone. But I think if you bought them over the phone, they also charged you if you either had them mailed to you, or if they were stored at a Ticketmaster location so you could pick them up.

I think that depends if it's a Spice girls ticket from 1997 or 2007.

hate 'em as well, I avoid them when I can (not always possible, I know). Got lucky with the Mekons at the Aladdin by only paying $1 over the ticket price by buying them at the box office. ($21 total, though the Aladdin is a cool venue that doesn't seem intent on squeezing every lost dollar out of the "customers").

They should open more Ticketmaster outlet in major cities where you pick up tickets at your convienience for already purchased events rather the usual screwed-up delivery
