why has Eilat gone downhill since the mid 90s?

The Israeli government clamping down on immigrant workers? Ehiopians taking all the jobs? tourist industry damaged by terrorism?

Or is it because the main street in the town is on a hill?

If I wanted to see desert, I'd only have to jump into my car an drive for about 5 hours.

1. Shitholes do not generate a lot of pollution...

2. Where to move ? All borders are closing. We are at the age of "choose our immigrants" and those who lived in shitholes are not welcome - except if their brains show high efficiency after having being formatted our way.

3. Lots of people already moved to go to that area following a religious quest. So, if you want them to move, print new bibles (and sorry I do not know the English names of the Holy Books of the Jews and the Muslims - but think to print them too) and state Wolfboro in place of Jerusalem.
