We all know the hits, but what LP is the best place to start?

I think I'll pick up Telekon and Replicas tomorrow. Unless someone convinces me otherwise!

The Pleasure Principal. Yes it has Cars, but it's a brilliant album from start to finish. Replicas and Telekon would be great follow up purchases.

If you like industrial style music, I highly recommend his newer stuff such as Pure, Jagged and Sacrifice. :thumb:

Why not start with Belinda Carlisle first?:skeptic:

I was always partial to this one. Very Italo-disco.

That's a nice track!

I bought Replicas today, couldn't find any other LP at the local shoppe. "Are 'Friends' Electric" is tight.

After I bought The Principle Pleasure I couldn't make myself to buy his other LPs. The sound is great! But the voice... is too Bowie-ish, too high and neurological. That's why I prefer his instrumentals.

Couldn't agree more, Exile isn't bad either. Try to buy the re-mastered versions as they include lots of b-sides and instrumentals.
