who looks good thus far? primaries coming up soon, will tighten up the race. lots of televised bullshit matches going on lately, like rubbernecking at a crash.

would be nice to see someone come in who can actually get something constructive done in this country.

oh, errr...can we talk about religion and politics?

All these right wing pundants seem to have a totally obsessed love/hate hard-on for Hillary... what would they do without her, they want her to be the Dem candidate soooooo bad. They could never really get away with so much blustered vague hatred towards Obama or another female candidate. They say that the Clintons are the most dishonest people in the history of politics, everything they do is some sort of vague deceit and that 4 years of Hillary will turn the USA into a socialist nightmare equal to 1960s era Soviet Union. I guess she will be like Emperor Palpatine in Star Wars and dissolve congress and use evil for politic control, at least how she is described. Maybe Hillary has a secret brainwashed clone army (like Blackwater) somewhere which will take over our military.

Personally I don't see how Hillary would be competent enough to actually accomplish half of the liberal evil they say she wants to destroy America with, even if she wanted to. She seems kinda boring and superficial.

The only ones that aren't completely full of shit are Ron Paul or Kucinich, but both are quite eccentric and have no chance in hell in winning.

The most dangerous candidates for us would be either Rudy or Hillary just because they are so connected with the current political machine.

Obama is done for, maybe Edwards has a chance by virtue of his good polling in some of the early primary states.

Unless something dramatic happens, I think Rudy will be up against Hillary in the GE, and some sordid affair of Bill will be trotted out tainting her run somehow, and Rudy is going to dress in drag again, etc, etc, etc I'd rather kill myself then see either of those assholes win.

She's hardly liberal, much more of a centrist. In most countries in Europe she'd be a centre-right candidate.

YES my favourite subjects! :)

Brian Moore for president! Edit: (Scrub that! I wish people would stop calling themselves things that they aren't). :(

So it'll be another loon in the White House.

WSP(US) don't look like their running a candidate.

Got told by a coworker this week that Ron Paul says things I would tend to say, and since Tristan thinks he's not completely full of shit, I'll take that as a compliment. Not overly enthused about any of the candidates left standing at this point though.

I know I'm going to get chewed out for this, but Ron Paul reminds me of LaRouche.

I'm kind of for Obama, mostly because he wants to repeal that retarded No Child Left Behind act. Seriously, what fuckard came up with a law that says that if a school is under-performing according to statewide testing, the school should get less money. Shouldn't someone be trying to figure out why under-achieving schools aren't scoring high? Then again, President Dubya didn't have to put his twins through a shoddy urban or rural school system.

Anyhow I'd rather see Kucinich to be president, for my foremost concerns are preserving a woman's right to choose, equal rights for LGBT persons, and withdrawing from the mismanaged war asap.

Ron Paul does not support abortion rights afaik.

I wouldn't write off Obama just yet. He now has the full backing of "the Oprah". Hillary has Babs. She is known as a longtime Democrat shill. "The Oprah" still has the aura of being somewhat objective (although she is a lefty) and that will play well with "undecideds" (which is code for people who can't find their bums with both hands).

Anyway, get ready for Hillary to fully extend her claws in the coming weeks...........

The Democrat primaries are going to be delicious to watch.

Oprah is not a lefty, your spectrum if off. Anyways unless Oprah's money can dig a scandal out of the Hillary camp, he is going to continue to trail her.

Dems had it figured out long ago, Hilary will run with Obama as VP.

On the Rep. side? I agree I don't want Guilanni, way too much of a politician. I'm disappointed that McCain has lost his steam, that's who I'd want but I don't think he has the clout he used to. Really don't know the other candidates... really don't give a flying F...

I just hope there are good options. The last two elections were shite. Bush was never a favorite, I just happened to hate Gore and Kerry more... which really doesn't say much.

Can they start picking candidates that people love instead of the fucktard way of doing it lately????

You may not think The O is a lefty, but her endorsement of Obama certainly does not smack of being a right-wing Republican. Anyway, Obama is in a statistical dead heat among registered Democrats in Iowa when the top 5 polls are averaged (two showing Obama leading, two showing Hillary leading and one showing a tie). As for Hillary's scandals, Obama doesn't need The O's money for any fact finding missions. Source material is plentiful and available.
