I had mixed feelings about MANCHESTER PASSION.It was good seeing "Jesus" singing I AM THE RESURRECTION from the clock tower of Manc Town Hall. But Tim Booth singing Blue Monday? There were two crucifixions that night.
Actually remembering back...wasn't the Last Supper filmed on the grass outside URBIS with Tony Wilson at the chippy van?

Away you go, your needing your eyes tested, take another look:

King John Honest John wrote: in the original pic. it was DEFO a Rangers top. the word Carling is clearly visible.
They've both been Carling haven't they?!
What are they now?!

What's the CR stand for Celtic/Rangers, is the guy that started the firm a schizo Glaswegian?
...and back on topic, Billy Connolly used to tell a long rambling story in the late 70's about the nativity being in the Gorbals not Galilee.

Maybe no as funny nowadays, when he relies on swearing for laughs, but in the late 70's early 80's he was the best thing going (with competition like Jimmy Tarbuck that wasn't to hard though).

Does it make a difference either way? Its quite clearly Corby
Possibly, except why would anyone in Corby be waiting for a bus, given the number of taxis around... ![]()

Just seen clips of the rehearsals on Granada Reports.
It's the nativity all right, but Joseph is a failed asylum seeker who falls in love with a local social worker. They sing Liverpool songs from the Beedles to the Bunnymen at three locations around the city and the whole thing ends in a nativity scene by the banks of the Mersey.
It will be broadcast live on BBC3. Don't miss it, folks ![]()

"NO! ...and say it loud NO!"
"Story Of The Blues " at a push, aye, but it's gotta have Seven Minutes To Midnight", or "Sleep" or anything off "WAH! NAH=POO- The Art Of Bluff!
Plus "Crown Of Thorns" and/or "Heaven Up Here", would go down well; but "Heads Will Roll" and Crocodiles are a must:
"Work all day/Live on hay/and you'll get pie in the sky/When you die die die!"
