They'll have to re think scouse national costume, and dance, can't imagine white heels and shell suits doin small box, middle size box, big box, slightly iregular semi-trapezoid box....going down quite as well as say, flamenco, or even the evil Irish dancing (I mean FFS nailing their arms to their sides, cunts)

Now now. The red half is the lifeblood of the place.

Just setting up the arena for the opening gig tmw. Watched the Wombats, Pete Wylie and The Farm sound check so far. All sounding good. However the Bunnymen are blowing the place away with their sound check.

Looking forward to it big time.

Capital of culture my rather ample backside.

Whole thing seems to be "oh look, this is where the Beatles came from" and then papering over what a completely disgusting shithole the place actually is.

I've spent last two days there.

I have nothing to add to that.

could n't agree more.

Didnt Tony Wilson say something about how the Beatles fucked off out of Liverpool as soon as they had the opportunity, and actually gave nothing back to the city?
