What's the story about this one? I saw the ad briefly at home - she's just died, or summat, just like John Simm?
And WHAT THE FCUK is she wearing?!!!! ![]()

Alex Drake (Keeley) is the Psych Evaluation Officer who Sam Tyler gave a tape of his experiences to in the last ep of Life On Mars.
In 2008, Drake gets shot and wakes up in 1981. Supposedly, some terrible thing happened to her in 81 and if she can stop it happening again she can get home...
The creators say the soundtrack covers Dexys Midnight Runners to Joy Division and to look out for cameos from Steve Strange, George and Zippy and Shaw Taylor.
Keep 'em peeled...

I'm far too much of a gent to refer to the delightful Ms. Hawes in such a crude maner, but I know where you're coming from Clive...

Nah, not really. Though you won't have a clue who Gene Hunt and his merrymen are.
Actually, no, you surely must know who Gene Hunt is without watching the show? His face has been plastered everywhere.
And he gave the world the best insult ever - "You great soft sissy girlie nancy french bender Man United supporting poof"!
Genius! ![]()
I'd give Life on Mars a try though - very good idea, well made.
artical in the times today,, great quote from gene,, bollinger knickers,, ill drink to that![]()

She was the best reason to watch the first three series of Spooks.
Who cares if she's not the best actress.....

;)
It wasn't the best start, but it had a lot to live up to from the previous series.
However, I did like the A-Team style shootout (i.e. loads of bullets, but not one person got shot)! ![]()

Well yeah , she'd get it obviously .Was she in Life On Mars? Didn't quite follow who she is. Got more into the '81 feel as the prog went on and will be tuning in again next week.

I seem to recall she did - she definitely did in Complicity! ![]()

Did anyone else notice how bad the dialogue was in places?
"I'm gonna get YOUUUUU!"
and a real corker from Gene Hunt later on:
"I'm here to protect you from the badness OUT THERE"
John Simm must be pissing himself.
Rubbish
it was like the worst LoM episode times three and that's before you take into account the holes in the plot.
I really wanted it to be good as well.

It's the scene where Jonny Lee Miller is tied up on the bed, and she's alternating between ice cubes and coffee! :p
Somebody's already done some decent screen captures here - warning, don't open up at work! :)
Cut to the chase Nick.Facial or no facial?
Excellent link, Nick!!! Am wondering how long I'd get away with one of them full frontal shots as me avatar....

Well, you don't get to see her actually going down on him - just her drinking the coffee, Jonny Lee Miller screaming, and then her putting the ice cube in her mouth with Jonny Lee Miller also screaming - lucky git! :p
You do get to see her full frontal, though (as Fradders has just mentioned)!
Having just watched the scene several times, it's very good! ![]()

Well,it would be better with a bit of cum on her chin, Or a spunkbubble inflating out of her snout at least..Honestly what a boring so-an-so she is!

See, this is all very interesting. I really didn't like that film very much when I saw it, but I loved the novel. In the novel, in said 'play-rape' sequence the lad does the lass up the bumhole (there's a great line about "the faint smell of shit" when he pulls his todger out). Nick, does the scene imply bum sex?? And if so, WHY DON'T I REMEMBER ANY OF THIS???????

Take that back, you northeastern cunt!! She is a Goddess and I will marry her.

I would say b)Searing bumhole pain..on balance.
You will no doubt cast her aside, and hang her by her newly gaping wizard's sleeve-esque bumhole,on a random hatstand when you are done..Ruined for ordinary men!!![]()
Then marry her..Soiled goods need husbands too, natch.

Having just watched the scene just now, no mention of bum sex at all - although I guess it's implied by the bath afterwards! ![]()

I think most right thinking people would prefer a ravaged ringpiece to life with you ![]()
(though possibly only because the latter is just a cover for multiple instances of the former)

True, it was enjoyable - just hope it gets a bit better, and that the holes in the script don't detract (What exactly did happen when her daughter went underneath the bridge? We heard a gunshot, and then just saw her - did he do a runner? And how come the daughter was non-plussed about being held kidnapped and nearly been shot??)... ![]()
Apart from things like that, I quite enjoyed it! :)
