See, this is all very interesting. I really didn't like that film very much when I saw it, but I loved the novel. In the novel, in said 'play-rape' sequence the lad does the lass up the bumhole (there's a great line about "the faint smell of shit" when he pulls his todger out). Having just watched the scene just now, no mention of bum sex at all - although I guess it's implied by the bath afterwards!

True, it was enjoyable - just hope it gets a bit better, and that the holes in the script don't detract (What exactly did happen when her daughter went underneath the bridge?
