What foods do you like that shouldn't be put together?

My colleague at work has been eating chips, cheese and gravy for years. I've always thought the idea disgusting but she made me try it and now I love it. So much so that I've had it for lunch three times this week already.

How much pepper did you put on it?

choc ice & chips - had it after it was on an advert. ace.

also cheese & chocolate. heated together in a sandwich. one layer of cheese, then a little wall of cheese round the outside, then grate the chocolate into the middle & stick it in the microwave fro 30 seconds.

I was pissed a few weeks ago and I put two different types of cheese (one of which was mozzarella) into a beef and tomato pot noodle. I also added Tabasco sauce and pepper. It was absolutely rank and what's more it made me feel ill the next day. My lips went all dry like I'd been in the sea and I couldn't shit properly for two days. Actually now I think it wasn't beef tomato it was bombay bad boy which is a bit like curry. My god it was shit don't ever try it. Oh and after I ate it I put cheesy fingerprints all over my black Fender guitar and although I cleaned it the next day I still imagine that they are there and I can still smell them and now I need a new guitar because that one's ruined. I'll probably get a Rickenbacker. I really want a 370, even though it's stupid not to get a 360 because I'm nowhere near good enough to notice the difference. I think they look cheap without the extra pickups and anyway the 370 will hold it's value better I'm sure.

Do I win £40?

ive recently been playing with different flavours together and discovered that cheese does indeed go well with chocolate. chunks of white lancashire cheese and chunks of milk chocolate on a plate is awesome. ive always had tinned tuna with baked beans which people find odd. a chiipy near me does chips, cheese and beans.never understood how people get curry ontop of battered fish.batter must go soggy as hell. dont get terry christian talking about chippies

When I was a teenager my girlfriend made me a cheese and coleslaw sandwich and it was delicious. We split up soon after that and the taste of cheese and coleslaw always makes me feel sad, even though I couldn't care less about her or her dumb sandwich any more. I was pretty pissed off at the time though, to say the least. The sensation is stronger if the cheese is grated and mixed with the coleslaw in a bowl and even stronger if placed on a sandwich made with that cheap bread that styawdents eat.

Does anyone else have a strange pavlovian response which evokes long-forgotten post-pubescent misery to particular sandwich fillings?

If you buy another guitar, you'll need to get your joists strengthened

Nutella always reminds me of camping (for some bizarre reason)

Treacle butties remind me of summer

Beef and coleslaw butties remind me of my ex

If you eat any more salt and vinegar Mccoys, you'll need your britches strengthened

Jam sandwiches remind me of sitting on the beach in Poole.

Jam on heavily buttered crackers make me think of the Canarvon Hotel in Ealing Broadway.

Wife keeps insiting that I should eat pesto sauce... I've eaten 5 different meals with it (on pasta, bread, pizza, etc) and can't stand the stuff... yet she keeps putting it on stuff and keep telling her to stop. Last night I refused to eat the crap and she got pissed at me...

I eat chicken tikka kebabs for breakfast.

Wronges thing is wasting food on brown sauce. Just put the shit on bread, because it totally replaces the flavour of everything that falls victim to it anyway.

Cheesy coleslaw is Food of the Gods. Fact.

Was gutted when my local Tesco Metro started shutting at midnight cos cheesy coleslaw was always one of my favourite tipples after 14 swift pints!

I try to make chilli a whole day in advance, it's so much nicer after a chance to sit for a while.

There's a new bread/bun thing being put out in cooperation with some local celebrities where I live---it's basically a bun with azuki (sweet red bean---very sweet, actually quite sugary) paste and mozzarella cheese in it. (Very strange sounding.)

Also, I've also seen pizzas with shrimp and mayonnaise as the topping here in Japan, too.
