There's a new bread/bun thing being put out in cooperation with some local celebrities where I live---it's basically a bun with azuki (sweet red bean---very sweet, actually quite sugary) paste and mozzarella cheese in it. (Very strange sounding.)
Also, I've also seen pizzas with shrimp and mayonnaise as the topping here in Japan, too.
