I've got Kazaa and apparently Morpheus is the same thing without that spy stuff you were worrying about. I find it slower but you can download all different file types Video, Software etc.

Hunts, I downloaded Cubase VST32 5.1 and Reason and guess what? still not managed to actually produse a single sonic vibration yet, including the cubasis I actually paid money for. cubase is difficult with out a midi keyboard, but try www.reasonstation.net for quick tutorials for all levels for reason.

I can copy and paste tracks into it and see them sitting there but I can't seem to play them back, at least audibly.

How do manage to get it to make a noise, any noise at all?
Wanky, have you got a soundcard installed? ... if so, you should have a headphone and/or stereo audio out. Wire either of these 2 monkey chasers to a mixing desk or your hairy ears and you should get some sounds and banging 'choons 'in a area. If your getting nothing it means you probably haven't read the instructions to set the bastard up. Try putting the left locator and right locator to the far left and right of whatever shit you've pasted into your song, select all and export audio as stereo interleaved. Once that is done write the file to a cd and you'll hear that alright.
Remember though, loud sounds can adversley damage your hearing so if you are about to use head phones please consult a doctor to see if the tunes aren't too dirty.

I've a Soundblaster Live Platinum and the P.C. is wired through my Amp so that shouldn't be the reason for the lack of noise, as mentioned I'm not having any problem with Fruityloops. I'll try the other thing and report back.

Hanky, make sure that the track that you have your music on has Soundbattler Live! selected for the output otherwise it will just route into itself. Track Name, then Instrument, then Output ... on the left of the screen.
Incidentally - the sound card you are using is quite sensational for the money. You are a lucky boy. The equivalent spec. on a Mac would cost in excess of 2.3 million euros easy.

The new version of Winmx (3.2) is much better than the old one (multiple downloads etc). I would not be surprised if Winmx takes over Audiogalaxy (until they close this one down as well). And so far no spyware.

I agree. Audiogalaxy users will possibly migrate to another system and WinMX seems to be the best one so far. Every time a file-sharing service is closed another one takes over. Do you remember the late Napster?
