damn after 20 years I will see this band live again. Is it still the same xymox as it was in 80s - I doubt it very much. Ive just visited their web and......Iam scared, now I wonder why I booked this fookin ticket:scratch: Maybe they will play some old stuff, I really hope so; otherwise I will be damn disappointed.

I saw them a few years ago and YES they play old tunes. So half the concert is good. And the singer is the only remaining guenine member of the clan.

What was that one gothy Xymox dance song they used to play in clubs around 20 years ago? Did they have one big underground club hit? I never knew what it was called, would like to see if I can find that song on the internets.

I realize that most of their songs prolly could be described as "late 80s gothy dance song" so this question may be absurd.

Oh, I figured it out... the song is called "Stranger"... it is in many ways a "Blue Monday" imitation, no wonder I kinda liked it.

"A Day" was a club topper back in the days. "Medusa" album was phemonimal, I think their second album they made. Atmospheric, melodic and dark.

Avelyn is proper Goth dance. With cross-eyed girls from Gdansk.
