A shoot is a "real" occurence in pro wrestling. So when they did a boxing tournament ten years ago, that was a shoot.
Mayweather is getting $5 Million for it. They tried to get Oscar De La Hoya in, and do a tag match with him and Mayweather on opposing sides. That would have been hilarious. i remember when WCW did it with Dennis Rodman and Karl Malone.

The Big Show is training to be a boxer. No, I'm not talking about the wrestling match with Mayweather, for we all know it is a show.
I just wondered how a slow 7 footer would succeed in a professional heavyweight boxing match. And... he's 36 years old!

I watched No way out on ~sunday night, obviously it was all staged but Mayweather landed some cracking shots on 'The Big Show'. and broke his nose.

I remember watching some Bushido fights a few years back. They even put heavyweight 'boxers' in the ring with Thai boxers who were nearly half their size.
The 'boxers' all left the ring within the first round (one crying!) because some barefooted little guy had kicked them.
Now stick a World Heavyweight 'champion' in the ring with one of the little guys and I'd pay to see the humiliation.

Ali v inoki was fascinating, until they got in the ring. Inoki just lay on his back kicking Ali's ankles all the match. apparently it left Ali with permanent ankle damage

The knockout punch was delivered after Mayweather removed his gloves and stole a brass knuckleduster from an unconcious official. Most of Mayweather's entourage had been beaten up by then and he had been dangled in the air by his face.

They changed the rules to anything goes.
It was stupid, i know Mayweather isn't in ring wrestling trained to take the bumps but it would have been abit better if Big Show had flung him about abit more. and i'm suprised they let Mayweather win with all the wrestling fans hating him so much.

it was stolen from one of his entourage, i don't think the ref got 'knocked out' in the Big Show fight, only in the main event.
