Somehow my Internet explorer just updated and I have this f'ing annoying hand as a cursor. It's suppose to allow for dragging the webpage, but it now only stops me from being able to cut/paste things.... using it on an email is murder.... anyone know how to turn the blasted thing off?

and Cambo... no shite outta ya over "I told you so" comments... I don't like Firefox so that isn't n option....

No help from these quarters either Edel, I agree with Chris. What issues did/do you have with Firefox?

firefox was slower. The worst was that it was more jerky when dragging the webpage, which made my eyes strain...

This hand thing has made life hell trying to accomplish simple tasks....

What the baldy bumbandit said!

Opera is fast, and 100% accurate (if the site doesn't work right in Opera, the site is wrong, fact!)

HOLY CRAP!

Opera kicks arse!!!! It is waaaaaaaay faster than explorer... especially NOOL... before I had to wait a couple seconds for each page to load, Opera is almost automatic.... I like the speed dial.....

Why the hell does everyone love Firefox? That is complete crap compared to Opera.... ooooohhhh... uuugggghhhh..... eeeeememmmmememmm..... AAAaaAAHHHhhAAaaaHhhHH!!!!!

Damn! Now I gotta clean off my screen and keyboard! See what ya done Jeff!

does Opera work with vista ok??

Nothing works with Vista okay. Well, I should say Vista works with nothing okay.

You could try both Opera and Firefox.

I use both browsers depending on what I want to do. Opera is generally alot faster, but can be a pain in the bum with it's wonky 'wand' and password/ID memory thing. The 'widgets' often don't work too.

I use Firefox if I'm going to be on Facebook or Myspace, etc. Opera if I'm working.

With Opera it's easier to examine and edit source code, with Firefox, there's a better Ftp add-on.

You have to compromise.

I'd go for getting rid of Vista, loading XP Pro and using whichever you prefer out of Firefox and Opera.

Just avoid IE bollox...

No problems here with Vista and Opera. Only used it today, mind, but everything seems to flow just fine.:thumb:

I keep Firefox and Konqueror handy at all times, because Opera WILL choke up on badly coded sites.

The remembering passwords thing, I dunno about that, it will NOT remember my ebay pass, but it's remembered NOOL and Pitpass and all the torrent sites I use just fine, I never need to log in.

If a page goes mental in Opera, take it's URL to the "w3c validation engine", and read the report, you may not understand the techinicalities, but you'll see it's a clusterfuck of a page every time.

It once threw up over a page I was tring to get to and I validated the page. The report just said (I'm paraphrasing), "I cannae validate this page because it's so utterly fucked I cannot even determine which markup language it's IN to know what to check for. Please contact the developer or maintainer of this page by letter bomb"
