Poor doggy

I was going to post something about snakes 2 weeks ago. I bumped into my friend who's boyfriend owns a huge python. He noticed the snake hadn't eaten for weeks and kept hiding under his bed. He also noticed a tendency of the snake to go very straight when he approached it.

Rather than take the (huge) snake to the vets, he decided to call first. The Vet told him in no uncertain terms to get rid of it - quick! The reason it hadn't eaten for days was that it was gearing up for eating him!

Why on earth do people get pets like these without reading up on them first? If they had a young child, chances are the child would have been the first victim.

Stoopid!

hmmmm, i told this story to a riveted year 7 today. in my version it was a snake belonging to a university friend of my little brother. it would sleep in the bed with her but she'd recently found it lying ruler-like next to her in the middle of the night - apparently checking to see 'if she'd fit'. i'm starting to doubt it's true at all...

Well I know about urban myths, but my friend really does have a boyfriend with a snake, and he really has just donated it to a zoo!

This has probably happened loads of times, it's what big pythons do

If there was something long and stiff in the bed, I'd think I'd got into the wrong bed. If there was something short and stiff in the bed, I'd think that Jeff had died in his sleep.

Why didn't the kids do anything to rescue the poor pooch?

Shocking!

What's the world coming to when kids are afraid to take issue with their pets being eaten.

Python? Shovel to the head

They probably didn't have their guns to hand. Or knives in the case of the kids on the streets around here...

Or maybe, they thought it was funny :eek3:

Naw... probably just sitting as victims, pushing it waaaaaaaaaaay down in that dark deep hole, putting a cork on it, so that they can then release it in college with an AK-47:nod:

Why didn't they shoot the python? Instead they let him to digest the doggy.. Next time he will know for sure where to come for his next dinner.

C'mon, don't they have monkeys in Japan that attack and then ride atop turtles in the sea?
