Why did taxi drivers cab to cab conversations start coming out of my radio immediately after the quake Mick?
RRocket - I saw a crack in the road after the quake and became excited.
Does that make me a pervert?

It's just that if it did you should report it to the UK geological whatsit, there is a great deal of research into the piezzoelectric effects of rock under pressure (both in terms of earthquake prediction and would you belive, as a possible explanation for many UFO sightings).

a similar thing has happened to me on occasions when fire engines are near the house,
could be something like that and the timing just a coincidence

Nope , i ain't talking bollox .In fact it's happened before.A couple of times over the years if a taxi has been in the street outside and i have the radio on i've been able to listen to the drivers talking on their radios 
Think it was just a coincidence on this occasion.Actually think i may have caught a bit of someone's telephone conversation too.It deffo wasn't someone phoning in and talking to the radio dj .
