Have a short sleeved dark blue H&G that i bought in 1999 that's still just about passable for a night out even now!

I've got a plain grey Nike t-shirt that I bought in 1998, still looks perfectly OK despite being worn and washed most weeks during that period.
I've still got a couple of USA World Cup 1994 shirts I've kept and still wear, just a little bit tattered these days.
Of those, I bought two of a beautiful Germany: World Cup Defenders shirt that's never been worn and is still hanging in my closet.
A Travis t-shirt that I bought during their The Invisible Band 2001 Tour. I now use it as a pj.
My dad got me two Oasis shirts 10 years ago, one of them dark blue with "North America" on it, the other brown with "d'you know what i mean?" on it. And I haven't stopped wearing 'em.
...well, considering they're large-sized shirts...

Have a couple plaid shirts that were bought around 98, tshirts only last for 5 years before they are unwearable....
One thing I noticed about Americans since I moved here - they all wear t-shirts under their dress shirts! That doesn't look good if you don't wear a tie and have the top unbuttoned - you see that kinda "underwear" t-shirt looking out. I guess hip hop culture shed its roots deep.
Anyway my favourite t-shirt is Cowboys one that I got on August 29, 2001, and still wear it every week since then. The only music t-shirt I ever had was a Sex Pistols one when I was in college.

Actually I think it looks terrible to not wear a shirt under the button down.... and why is it the greasy guys with the really hairy chests love to go without, they are the one that really ned it...
Still got a Paul Smith 'moleskin' shirt that i bought for my 21st,admittedly its a bight tighter these days (just a bit,you cant fatten a thorough bred :wink3: ),still looks the part under a cardigan.

I don't think it has anything to do with hip hop culture. I think it looks stupid not to wear one - especially if you sweat.

Don't like throwing my T-shirts away,they're like collectables like concert tickets for me.Still got 2 old Cocteaus shirts,a CITIES IN THE PARK shirt from 1991,a Factory shirt for I don't know how long which I dug out to go and see 24HRPP at the piccies.A Terminator 2 shirt! Oh and not forgetting my favourite VIZ "They're happy because they eat LARD" shirt.
Most worn though are my MOVEMENT shirt and my CBGB shirt I bought from the very place first time I went to New York on 2004.

do coats count? had my denim jacket 15 years and i still wear a 60s yellow mac that was my mum's before i got my grubby mitts on it...

I've still got the 'A Pint and A Fight - A Great British Night' one somewhere... Qualidee! I hate getting rid of shirts like these - ones you bought at gigs and so on, cos they are intrinsically linked to the whole experience of seeing a band live... I've got probably a dozen Weddoes shirts, that I haven't worn in years, but can't bring myself to throw away - wanted to get all 12 shirts that came out with the Hit Parade singles in 92, but didn't have enough money!
