Here's the fucking awful lyrics, in case anyone has pulled their own ears off and can't hear how crap they are:
Stuck inside these four walls, sent inside forever, Never seeing no one nice again like you, Mama you, mama you. If I ever get out of here, Thought of giving it all away To a registered charity. All I need is a pint a day If I ever get out of here.
Well, the rain exploded with a mighty crash as we fell into the sun, And the first one said to the second one there I hope youre having fun. Band on the run, band on the run. And the jailer man and sailor sam were searching every one
For the band on the run, band on the run, band on the run, band on the run
Well, the undertaker drew a heavy sigh seeing no one else had come, And a bell was ringing in the village square for the rabbits on the run. Band on the run, band on the run. And the jailer man and sailor Sam, were searching every one
For the band on the run, band on the run, band on the run, band on the run
Well, the night was falling as the desert world began to settle down. In the town they're searching for us every where, but we never will be found. Band on the run, band on the run
And the county judge, who held a grudge Will search for evermore For the band on the run, band on the run, band on the run, band on the run
Well, the undertaker drew a heavy sigh seeing no one else had come, And a bell was ringing in the village square for the rabbits on the run.
Third rate at best.

hahaha...
least I didnt say JET.
Well Micheal, I'm with you on this one, though I wouldn't necessarily buy the tune, seeing as how Paulie doesn't really need my money.
Let Me Roll It, from the album, is the one Macca song that I love though. A bit weird, that one.
What's so good about it?![]()
Pretty average if you ask me.He and/or Wings did some better songs.Although not many. It's a happy video.Good times on the road 'n all that.Nice to see him in happier and younger times and all that before he met the evil Mills thing.Have always thought him a self important cunt since the Beatles ended but i wish him well all the same for his remaining years.God i'm feeling generous tonight - what's come over me?![]()
"Band on the Run" and "Jet" are nice pop songs, really liked them when I was a kid (I thought it was "man on the run" at first). A lot of his other mid 70s and 80s stuff has not weathered well at all to say the least, so the Band on the Run album seems golden in comparison.
did the pollster also wake up to wogan the other morning? I was laying in bed thinking the same revisionist thoughts...
I've got no beef with Terry, per se.
Noel Edmunds is a bit of a tit though...He resides between all our ballbags and arse cracks.![]()
Wikipedia him.Tells you there...
Ha ha I added that to the Urban Dictionary!

Perfectly scripted an all!! hahahaha.Brilliant!
I did it when I was pissed on Christmas Day, after your story on here.
Brilliant, isn't it! The fact that you can do it, not my entry. Most families play charades on Christmas Day. Me and our kid put filthy words on the interweb.
Good laugh though. We did ladybum an all.
You have to wait ages while the moderators approve the entries to make sure they're not unsuitable. God knows what they're looking for cos there's some right filth on there.
Well that has to be my favourite post of the year.. Done on Christmas Day,just makes it extra special..The First NO-EL..ey Edmunds...
Very fitting day for it!
Good to see the moderators never found it unsuitable...They would have a hell of a job trying to prove it was unsuitable though,it was a no brainer for them to be fair..Class!![]()
