drippy girl music

new ladytron has leaked onto the infowebs. quite nice--getting heavier and darker all the time. no immediate "pop" standout like "destroy everything you touch," but some very good tunes here. favorites thus far: black cat, runaway, the lovers, deep blue, tomorrow. "deep blue" is the sexiest song I've heard in months, even if it is written to a chess-playing computer or whatever.

anybody else heard this yet?

There is a bit of similarity between "Ghosts" and Shoot The Runner by Kasabian though. And I mean, just a bit.

Just had another listen.. its the sub bassy sound underpinning it. Deffo.

But its something that Ladytron have always done brilliantly; sounding like other bands but not really ripping them off. Except for Iggy

cant hear it myself. But then again, I havent listened to Crystal since April 2006 according to my Itunes folder.
