any logical reason why people on here like PSB much more than Erasure?

Both good,it's just PSB have had a more varied output so more generally acceptable than someone who's shoving his arsecheeks out at the audience at the front of a gig.:eek3:

I don't exactly hate Erasure---I think I have about 3 CDs by them, and while musically they are great, I just happen to prefer PSB over them. (I also think I like Neil's voice better than Andy Bell's.) Not to mention, I like Neil's lyrics, and I think they are about the only musical group I can think of that have references about things like Harold Pinter (Up Against It), paraphrasing Oscar Wilde (I get excited), Kim Philby (Jack the Lad), etc etc....

But that doesn't mean a musician would have to write lyrics like Neil to be a good musician.

Erasure nor New Order feature lyrics like PSB, yet I still listen to both.
