Bavaria is that even part of Germany. Free State and all. Let fookin Austria have them, sorry Christian. ;) . I am always embarrassed that the image of Germany in many people's minds here and oversees is of oompha oopha music, Lederhosen and slap dancing.

I refuse to accept Bavaria as part of Germany. They think they are something better anyway.

They don't think they are part of Germany. The title of Bavaria is, the Free State of Bavaria. Apparently they haven't ratified the German constitution yet, or something like that, but I'm not going to look it up this hour in the morning.
