people in hummers and SUVs who think they rule the road. they come up a few inches behind you to try and intimidate you. my reaction is to slow down and piss them off even more. i got hit on the interstate by a hummer a few months ago. the woman was trying to get in my lane. the only problem was: i was there!so she just sped up, cut in front of me and pretended nothing happened. BITCH!
also, people who drive along the shoulder instead of waiting in traffic. sometimes i straddle the shoulder so these assfaces can't get by and have to wait in line like the rest of us. GOD DAMN BUTTMUNCHERS!
Erm.. keeping up a jam night at my local for absoutely NIL pay, just the love of playing bass, with 2 drummers and a guitarist with strangers jumping up on stage to join in,to have some cunt who's only been in 3 weeks, take over the fucking night, and take over bass duties and vocals the whole fucking night. There ...rant over.
Anyone fancy getting together another JD tribute band?
Just the fact that, out of all the Crew Trainers at my store, I'm the only one that does NOT have a brown shirt.
Regular Crew - Red shirt. Crew Trainer/Manager Trainees - Brown Shirt.
And I'm the last *official* Crew Trainer in my store, and EVERYBODY AND THEIR MOTHER TOO knows that I'm a Crew Trainer. Been one for the better part of the almost 5-years I've been working at the store. And they can't even bother to call up one of my two Supervisors to check whether she's got a shirt in size SMALL, since everyone else wears Medium and up, so that their last Crew Trainer standing actually gets her damn shirt.
I feel like the actual odd one out because, while I don't have my brown shirt, Joel [the store manager] has me wearing my tie to work. That's all fine and dandy and what-all but, HELL-O!! he said the shirt was supposed to be in Monday, and that was LAST WEEK when he told me this. It's Thursday now.
Sooo... where. the. fuck. is. my. shirt!?
I swear, working at McD's tests the hell out of my patience!!

Drivers changing lanes abruptly, sneaking in front of a big truck and then immediately hitting the brakes; I pity the day when your misguided calculations don't work as planned and you wind up in the ditch; not hurt of course, just as a reminder to use your fckin' head when driving!
Guys that sit with their legs spread open on the trains.
People who lean on you whilst sleeping on train (I don't care if you sleep, just please don't lean on the person sitting next to you!)
Women that use the mirrors to do their makeup, when there's people standing behind them to wash their hands in the lavatory.
Certain pronunciations (I'm not talking about regional differences!) of English- 'noo-kyu-ler' for nuclear, 'eye-rack' for Iraq, 'lie-barrie' for library, 'pitcher' for picture, 'ruff' for roof, 'axe' for ask, 'major' for measure......etc etc etc
Books that have translation errors- For example, in F. Scott Fitzgerald's short story 'Babylon Revisited', one Japanese translation mistranslated the word 'damn', as 'sex'. 'Damn' isn't a synonym for 'sex', as far as I know. However, a different translation of that same story by Haruki Murakami had corrected that error.
Also, in the Albert Camus novel The Outsider (published in America as The Stranger), the Japanese translation mistranslated a segment where the protagonist says something about wanting to kiss a man, it said 'hug', instead of kiss. However, two different English translations (one British edition, another an American edition) had the word 'kiss', so I presume it's supposed to be 'kiss' and not 'hug'.
Rising cost of living in Japan (inflation)

Realized that while I still marched around the neighborhood ranting at top-lung in my combat boots and drawers, that I ran out of good rantable ideas.... need to refill the brain bucket with a few more before making tommorrow's assault upon the population....
What pisses me off?
The fact that I was born 10 years too early to benefit from the mp3 revolution. And ebay and Amazon, and the consequent huge drop in the price of music.
Young folks today, pah, don't know how lucky they are! Getting to listen to such a huge range of music and pick the non-crap stuff. In my day we had to pretend to ourselves that the record we just paid our highly limited music budget on because some twat in the NME liked it wasn't in fact complete crap and kid ourselves we liked it. Or pretend that the one track we'd previously heard wasn't in fact the only decent track on the album. (OK, quite possibly that was just me for having shite taste in the first place.)
But Gawd, when I think of the ludicrous money I spent on buying poxy cassettes (cassettes for Christ's sake! what in the name of God was I thinking?! I want to get in a time machine, go back and slap some sense in to myself). I seem to remember they were often as much as £15, probably more than £20 in today's money). Or vinyl which, no matter how carefully one stored it, always seemed to have developed loads of pops and skips the next time you took it out of the sleeve. I've never been one of them vinyl obsessives, vinyl was rubbish, good riddance to it (though at least Factory seemed to use much better quality stuff than everyone else, and um, Saville's work looked nicer on full size sleeves, but that's about the total case for the defence really).
And then I bought the sodding things all over again on cd!!!! Which were of course insanely overpriced thanks to the record industry's legally _proven_ cartel practices.
What's even more annoying is that I only finally started buying cds a couple of years before mp3s came along.
I reckon we were the generation the music industry price-gouged more comprehensively than any preceding or following. It's why I have bugger all sympathy for record companies, even when they objectively actually have a point about illegal downloading. I hope the bastards all go bust. I'd consider accepting having no more new music EVER just to get revenge on the buggers!!! There's enough old stuff I haven't listened to yet to keep me going. And New Order have jacked it in anyway.
I'd almost consider downloading music by bands I hate, purely to annoy the greedy music industry bastards (that means you, Metallica! Though I'd draw the line at actually listening to the downloads).
The worst of it is, having such a huge investment in cds means I now feel obliged to continue buying cds, because downloads burnt to cdrs just doesn't feel like the 'real thing' to a geriatric like me and 'cos if I were to admit I struggle to tell the difference between cds and mp3s I'd feel a mug for spending so much on the things while everyone else and his dog downloaded mp3s for free. Its the 'sunk costs' fallacy.
Oh, plus there's a twinge of conscience about ripping off the artists.
And I'm running out of space for cds. If I had it all on a few DVDrs of mp3s (or flacs) I'd be able to fully open the door of the living room.
Having got that out of my system, I do wonder what on earth is going to happen to the music industry, given that illegal downloading now seems to be almost universal. I still buy cds, but it feels almost like in paying for music I'm voluntarily giving to charity or something. I wonder if the 'In Rainbows'/'Ghosts' thing is the way of the future? Will that approach work do you think?

You know they have got these new things called mp3 players to play yer mp3s on so you can toss out the cds and make room for things like girls in yer living room!![]()
Er, that was, like, an exaggeration for rhetorical effect. But I am gonna have to either stop buying them or get rid of a load. (We get less space each here than you Americans, by about a factor of 8)
When on your birthday, the new KVM switch (lets you juse one keyboard, mouse and monitor with multiple PC's, my old one doesn't do USB, and my new PC ONLY does USB so....), that you paid a fortune for "next day by one o'clock" deliver....doesn't weigh in. THAT pisses me off, but not as much as the fact that Royal Fail's parcel tracker said "on it's way, will be with you by the guaranteed time", then at one on the dot changed to "errrm, yes we are delivering this sometime".
That'll be cuntin monday then!
Grrrrrr
Monty, yer a postie, how much do they pay out for breaking their guarantee?

ROYAL FAIL?
There's also PARCELFARCE too you know?
If it's Special Delivery, the sender should get a full refund on the postage at least.
Yeah to get to yours for Saturday, they would have had to pay £2 extra,so it'll be Monday now. Sorry Doc!
People who lie all the time and expect you to accept their bullshit and that you should respond with your lies and bullshit. And then they react with continued bullshit. It's a game. I play poorly, so it pisses me off.
People who complain all the time just to complain. The whole point is the complaining. It is stupid. Complain for a reason. Oh well, we all seem to do it.

could not agree with you more! ![]()
and people that drives these 4-cylinder cars filled with stickers and with the huge fin or spoiler on back of the trunk as if the car would flip-over and go no faster than 60-65 mph. how pathetic! OMG, soooooo funny! ![]()
people who borrow your CDs and return it with scratches - that includes scratches in the case and/or damages the circular holder of the CD (whatever you call it)
people who complain too much or complains at almost everything.
Indeed!
What pisses me off is when you're packing £300 quid's worth of motherboard up for a trip back to the makers owing to it being more than a little mental.......you bend 2 pins on the cpu socket and invalidate your warrantee[1].
pissed off (and retarded) Bangor.
[1]socket LGA775, pricless move by intel, sick of replacing processors with bent pins? then why not make the CPU with pads and get the pins made by the motherboard makers. Genius. Trouble is you can FIX pins on a processor, there's not a lot you can do with this "landing grid array" thing once you've fucked it.
People who don't indicate on roundabouts. You're sat there like a daft cunt waiting for a break in traffic, while something of the least amount of effort exerted could have let you know.......that you're a daft cunt.
when the train conductor doesn't communicate upcoming train delays so you can take an alternate route. Also, when the train I'm transferring to takes off as soon as my train arrives. ![]()
The poorly educated who live in 'Western' economies but do nothing about it. There's no excuse - have they never heard of libraries? Internet? Intelligent debate? Bettering Oneself?
Also:
The fat, slow and stupid on pavements. Okay, you may be slow or old, you have my sympathy and I agree that you have just as much right to walk/drive your spazzmobile on the pavement as I do. However, WHY take up the MIDDLE of the pavement with your fat arse/mobility scooter/pushchair so that no one else can get past without having to walk in the road? Have some consideration for others for fuck's sake.
And:
The unimaginative. The only thing that I find difficult to imagine is being able to say that I have 'Nothing to do.' I'm not a four year old. I can manage my time, invent various scenarios with which to occupy my mind and my time. These are the people who will sit there, aged 90, physically incapable, who have very little in life to look back on.
And:
Drivers who park on pavements, thereby reducing the width of the pathway for pedestrians, wheelchair users, etc. They deserve to have their cars keyed by every passer-by. I've seen mothers having to push their kids' pushchairs into the road because there's not enough room on the pavement. Also wheelchair users who've had to do the same, putting their own lives at risk due to thoughtless motorists.
And:
People who cycle on the pavement causing a danger to everyone. The last one who bumped into me got his spokes kicked in and seemed rather indignant that a pedestrian was cross that he was riding on the pavement (not in a cycle lane) and that others had the AUDACITY to applaud...
And:
Dog owners who let their filthy animals shit all over the pavements. The worms contained in canine faeces can blind a child if they accidentally ingest them. The poo should be picked up off the pavement and posted through the inconsiderate owners' letter boxes.
And:
People who put their feet on the seats whilst using public transport. Inconsiderate cnuts.
And:
People who constantly moan about everything as if they're worse done-by than everyone else. They deserve a fucking kick up the arse and to be sent to live in a sewage ridden hovel for two months. THEN they might have something to fucking complain about.
And:
Kiddy fiddlers.Which brings me on to: Michael Jackson. CUNT. Enough said.
And:
Government health warnings. I KNOW it will kill me, stop fucking reminding me.
And:
Apes. How come everyone says that so many species are dying out, yet there seem to be so many of the buggers?
And:
Modern music. All sounds the bloody same.
Don't get complacent. I haven't finished yet...
