a new era

after experiences myself and vicariously of some friends I wonder whether the new phenomenon of finding and meeting people from years past on the 'tinternet is a good or a bad thing. should stones be left unturned or is it a good thing to be able to revisit with stuff that was long forgotten?

(apologies for drunk typing, but I jus5t snogged my childhood crush after 24 years.)

My ex girlfriend from when i was sixteen added me a few weeks ago. Nothing majorly strange about that, apart from the last time we spoke to each other properly, she was cutting this huge promo on me blaming everything wrong in her life on me. Which was just a little bit harsh, i thought. I saw her again two years later, and even then she hadnt calmed down.

Well, I also blame Liam for most things that have gone wrong in my life and I've haven't been his 'girlfriend'.

I guess that's because you don't look for the people that you didn't get on with and if they get in touch with you, you ignore/politely decline/tell them to fuck off and die painfully covered in weeping pus filled boils choking on their own bile while being dry buggered by a large man probably named Bubba

I add people out of sheer morbid curiosity.

The thing is, (and I know this will shock you all) I was, at times, a real bastard in school. There was this girl who was minging, who i not once said anything nice to in five years, yet she friend requested me on Facebook three times.

And another one, who was proper God Squad, who aded me. Although thats fine as she's quite nice looking now, shame about being a religious nutcase.

i've had a little bit of dross seep in through a kind of block booking deal. add a friend on facebook you know from a certain context and suddenly everyone else that was part of the same scene/class/group has added you too. i'd feel too rude declining.

(my ex just added the girl he went out with before me - the one who made my life a misery while we were together. i sent him a tiny little growl which apparently made him laugh as he knew it would be forthcoming. 15 years ago this was but i still had a fleeting visceral reaction to her STUPID SMUG SHITTING FACE.)
