Anyone been watching it ?
village vote for a new baron.
i wanted mike reid to win.partly because it was filmed last year and i knew he was about to die
strange religous village.
in the late 90's Theresa lived in the next village to it for 5 years.
a bloke she knew moved into gardenstown.
locals were ok to him at first but within 2 weeks he'd clearly upset some people and he didnt know why !!. someone then tipped him off about the dreadful crime he had been commiting.
it was that he'd been putting his washing out on a SUNDAY ![]()

Eh? What, even worse than 'The Crouches'

or 'My Family'? ![]()

I odnt think they specifioed.
"It's always risky to decalre something the worst TV prgramme ever made. But The Baron would really struggle to sue anyone who made the accusation. if it's good accounting practice for everything that's produced to reach the screen, thenITV needs some new accountants. You couldn't release this straight to DVD. It should be released straight to delete"
there is no doubt that My Family is a horrible horrible television programme, but its a damn sight better than any "comedy" produced by ITV in the last fiteen years.

I'd watch shite rotting down if Robert Lindsay was in it.
Mate says..."wanna copy "my family", It's all on my wee player". So I connect lapper to player, and rob 23GB of My Family.
Hmmmm, starts out well. Some clever gags. By 3rd season it's just classic English sitcom shite isn't it "oooooh crikey, my trousers have fallen down and the vicar's arrived for afternoon tea".
But in the end what made me give up with "unrealisticly annoying character syndrome". The cannonical example of this is "shaun of the dead". Zombies wandering the streets is INFINITELY more believable than anyone remaining friends with anyone so stupid and annoying. Likewise, any REAL husband would have shot zoe wannamaker's character and fed her corpse to pigs.
Stuck for a good series to imerse myself in now.
Done everything by TV21 recently, except Joe90 (well it IS a kid's show
). Too soon to do Babylon5 again, Dr Who is a serious committment to watch as a single run (never managed it, somewhere in all the reconstructed episodes, I decide "fuck this" and whizz forward to Pertwee). And, although they're all still on one of my HD's, I'm not sure how much re-watch value there is in CSI.

Hey, there's loads of good ITV comedy.
2DTV errrrmmmmmmmmm
ITV(1 anyway) will not be seen again in this house after October this year. ITV 2 3 and 4 might still get a look in for the BTCC BGTC etc, but there's downloads and motorstv to offset that chance.
