I still don't understand how Gedge can mask the shame of re-naming Cinerama and going out to tour 'George Best'. The terms "cynical" and "money-grabbing" spring to mind. It's been discussed at length on here before but he is, by all accounts, a right royal prick.
Opinions on The Cribs Mr. Wibble?
cinerama split due to relationship failure didn't they? the weddoes album immediately after was all about it & the george best tour was after that, so slight tweaking of the chronology of events there g he may well be a prize turnip, but surely that's only a good thing in terms of being a good band?
the cribs? gave the album a listeon on your recommendation, on first listen the first few songs sound a bit like the strokes, but some good tunes on there, be safe is completely different to the rest of the album & is ace. (btw - looking on allmusic.com they seem to have done 4 albums!)
