My Aberdeen mates are in a band and they're not half bad.
Does anyone know who we need to speak to to get them booked somewhere in Manchester. Or anywhere else in the NW?
They're looking for something round are way on 14th, 19th or 20th of June. Or any other time, really.
They played at Dirty South in that London last week and went down a storm, aparently.

I will. Would have come along this time, but I was busy with Littlinoil. Never thought to post it on here, actually (not like me, eh?).
Vesuvian played their first London gig on Saturday. Tickets Sold out and people unfortunately were turned away from the door. Thanx to all who attended. For those who never got in, we are in the process of planning more London and surrounding area gigs for the very near future. Keep checking http://www.myspace.com/vesuvian for gig updates.
No mention of any eruptions, but that's not to say there weren't any.

Right, they need to get on Myspace and and become friends with:
Fiction Non Fiction Tiger Lounge Night and Day The Roadhouse The Ruby Lounge Retro Bar
and any other venues and nights and get the ocntact details.
The guy at the Roadhouse is called Ben Taylor, and at the ruby Lounge its his brother Jay. I cant remember who does it at Night and Day these days. But all these venues are looking for bands to play.
Fiction non Fiction is a good bands night on Tuesdays at Tiger Lounge. Its usually gets a half decent crowd in.
They could also do a lot worse than try and get a set at The Star and Garter. They need to speak to Andy there. And there's always The Witchwood in Ashton.
My mate Ciaran puts on a night called WotGodForgot at Retro Bar. he's usually looking for bands to play, its mainly wierd stuff though.

My brother-in-law's band is playing in Withington on 31st. Don't know anything about them, but I shall go along as I am in town. Fancy joining me?
