went over to the central station design exhibition (in Northern 1/4) dead 'double' good- nice to see the real classics - Bummed, James(Hymn from a Village) Tart Tart, Squirrel et al... but £700 for a print ...er no thanks. All in all worth the drive there & a nice accompanyment to the 'recent' Urbis exhibition.

Fully agree, I went last week and its great to see the artwork. They look superb big and framed up. Still too expensive for a print though.

James artwork is "Sit down" not "Hymn from a Village" - Sorry being anal!

There's a four-page piece about them in the Guardian Guide today. It's an interview with Ryder.

Ah yes - mistake, well spotted Gers Boy. Think it was Jim who did all the early Fac/Sire sleeve releases. Original S.D. (rough Trade 12") with bloke on front now worth a canny price i reckon, along with 1 Man Clapping lp & (cd especially)
