Never heard 'em but they're doing a free festival in Huddersfield, any point in making the effort?

OOh! Yep!
Liam says practically everyones shit
Some might call them... erm... "free spirited" on stage. They were crap and sounded like they hadnt rehearsed. Which is a shame because some of there songs are fantastic.
Anyway, the festival is free, and Huddersfield has some good pubs. so I would go along.
Having just seen the line up, all i can say is DONT GO.
Elliot Minor make relatively oinoffensive catchy guitar emo-ish songs that is instantly forgettable. The Script are, quite simply, the worst band i've heard in years. Think of a mix between The Kooks, Snow Patrol, and Maroon 5, then think of it at its absolute worse, and then times it by a million and you have an idea of how shit these bunch of twats are.
not seen them for a couple of years, saw them with joan as police woman supporting, i was impressed with some of the instruments they had onstage, & their furniture, but not so much by the music.
annie, let's not wait is still a good tune, but they aren't worth making the effort for imo.
(unless they have improved drastically since then)
