grouns for divorce is ace,a day like this is very ok but its nowhere near best track,the album needs plays love them to death ,have done for about 7 years

I like Elbow.. Guy Garvey is such a nice guy. BUT.. I don't love them. I can't go out and buy all their records, and i wish they'd release just one track that would make me want to. Lots of respect though.

ive met guy garvey and he had 3 tesco bags and put them down to talk to me.thats ace in my world.my name is on cast of thousands album cover twice,his is only on once!!,has i told him. total respect cus they have stayed to the music they want to make

As much as i've thought about it i've never bought or even listened to an Elbow album.But i do have Newborn on an old Q magazine compilation CD from about 2001.Good tune that was back then and i'm liking the new Day Like This single.

I bumped into Guy Garvey once. I felt really embarrassed because I once thought his surname was actually [spelt] Gravey, so I'd been referring to him for ages as "that Gravy bloke from Elbow".... mind you, Elbow Gravy sounds more appealing - kind of better than Elbow Grease, don't it? And a whole lot more palatable than Bum Gravy for a start.

As I've said previously, Grounds for Divorce was my favourite song. Then, I heard One Day Like This.

Always liked Elbow, but they're rapidly becoming one of my favourite bands. I'd marry Guy Garvey for his voice alone.

I must check them out at some point - the only thing I've got by them is a collaboration with 808 State (Lemonsoul) and that was good... Oh, also saw him sing with 808 at Castlefield a couple of years ago!

Can't get enough of A Day Like This.Gonna become a massive anthem and a massive hit that tune.Peeps go on about how well Sky used the song for the montage after Hull won the Championship play off final but it was actually BBC who had the idea first, a couple of weeks before, and used it at the end of the programme after Portsmouth won the FA cup.Try being a bit more original, Sky.

seeing them again at the electric picernic a couple of yers back showed how far they'd come since then

picked up some of their pre major singles off ebay recently for a song.

only time i met guy i told him off for the special edition of cast of thousands coming out so much later than the normal version, he argued that it was the record company doing it not them.
