I think "most faithful" implies SJS (or Jack). And Sarah is looking a bit dead based on where the ep ended.

I wondered about the number plate too, must look into it further.

I can't figure the re-generation thing......

Either........ A. The beeb have pulled a lightning speed fast one, and he really IS about to become someone else. All the stuff about Dave playing the Dr in the few specials next year could be bluff. or B. He's going to partially re-generate, back into himself (possibly because they are "out of sync" with real time).

Scared of this thread now, some wanker might post spoilage!

Nice to see Daleks still being proper wankers, even though Davros is about.

Davros may be an ugly cunt, but it's the personality that counts.

So true, any woman will tell you it's the sense of humour that wins every time, and Dav's a fuckin riot.

How many Daleks does it take to change a lightbulb.

None, a single Dalek is still an army and can exterminate conquer and destroy an entire planet with NO LIIIIIIIGHT!!!!!!!!!

See.

Mrs Dav must be the envy of the Surrey Tennis Club ladies of leisure..

There is a picture in the wife's Heat magazine this week of the Doctor wearing a blue suit, not the normal brown one.

In Tennants first Christmas Special he had his hand cut off and grew a new one. That hand, now in a jar in the Tardis, was featured a couple of times in the last episode, so maybe it's the hand that regenerates into a duplicate Doctor that can defeat Davros and live happily ever after with Rose. All one second in the future, natch.

the hand that they have kept showing in low angle close ups the last few episodes you mean?

ha! i was about to comment on those hand shots. and did you notice that's where the regeneration started?

it was that hand that contributed to all sorts of bother at the end of the last series...

i've heard this duplicate theory. what a load of bollocks if they do that. surely as a timelord with infinite access to other universes and that, he can't risk upsetting the spacetime continuum by having another doctor pottering about?

Dur. People, it's soooooo obvious. He's about to regenerate into Alex Kingston. * **

* this may or may not, be true.

** I can but wish!

i thought that for about 5 seconds. makes appealing sense of a few things. can't be though. would make all that strokey-face business too creepy, quite apart from anything else.

and it's too recent. too neat and tidy. they've set that up for something longer term, i think. 'her' doctor was much older than dave, she said. (that made me think too - if she recognised him in this incarnation he can't be going anywhere for a while. unless she recognised his soul or summat. awwww.)

I think it probably did pass into my mind at some point. But it's not the sort of thing I show a great deal of interest in you see.

Aye,he's well thought of is Davros, for one whose eyes are moulded over. He always gets a bum rap for some reason. He does alot of good charity work behind the scenes..I'll wager beneath that chest beats a heart the size of a cabbage.

People don't know, but he helps all manner poorly Daleks with their extermination skills....

Last sighted knacker deep in K9,and although that robot dog was howling with delight,Davros never batted an eyelid...

missed the (very poor) crimbo day episode and subsequently discovered bbc iplayer. what a cracking little invention that is.

edit: ooooh i've just seen a trailer too! i'm so excited i might throw up. we should have a four-way subwave link-up to watch it; you, me, cambo, and er, someone else.

i feel strangely unsatisfied. did anyone else think there was just too much going on? it all felt a bit like an over-excitable 7 year old's story: "and then THIS happens, and then THIS happens, and then THIS happens..."

good fun though. are you having bluey or browny, mrs m?

david morrissey in the next one! and the lovely dervla. this isn't just doctor who. this is christmas special doctor who.
