I can't figure out why his daughter would regenerate, as far as has been mentioned in the series, books and plays, regeneration is not soley a genetic thing, but dependent upon large amounts of Artron energy, and she never even entered the TARDIS.
Pretty obvious set up for a spinoff wasn't it, the end of that episode.

Torchwood is good, but it having it's own analysis show (and TWO for Dr Who), is just fucking annoying. It would be less so if they weren't shown right after the show itself. Looks like The Apprentice has been blighted with this too.

There is something more going on with Donna, from things the Dr says, she's "important". I would not be surprised if she "dies" by being the actual solution to a problem, as if she were destined for it. I'd also not be surprised if she turns out to be a Dalek creation.
Isn't Martha meant to be back though?
Not only was she the least annoying in the show's return, she beats every assistant (barring Ace...who I hated at the time, but, particularly through audioplays, I have come to adore), since Romana V2.0 stopped off in E-space to help the Tharills.
Still the highlight of the entire "new" who, HAS to be that septic givin his best Hollywood sepotard cheese speech to a Dalek.

Funny enough, after reading Al's post, I watched last week's again, and she BOVVERED me a great deal, I think that being reminded that she was in fact Catherine, not all THAT funny Tate coloured my view. She does do a fucking fabulous Belfast accent though, which seems to be a very hard one for Engerlanders to get right.
TWATTO: Sek mutated and got Exterminated, Jast and Thay also got the chop, leaving only Karn, who fucked off rather than accept the Dr's help.
I would not be surprised if it was he who looked "daddy" up. He would then use him to build a new Dalek race, and then exterminate him again, not really all THAT bright for an evil genius ;)
BTW, in that "I, Davros", he quotes a line in the ancient Dal[1] tounge which is something like (only heard, not read) "an lek uud cun da lek", which he translates as "and men shall become supermen", so Dalek means "superman", or more truthfully "Ubermensch".
[1] In the original "the daleks" the Thaals refer to a war between they and "the dal", who hid in their city and built suits of battle armour to live in, this is also mentioned in early comic strips. They rationalise this in cannon, by saying that Genesis is the truth, and that the Thaals were relying on a garbled verbal history. In I,Davros, it is explained that there were several races on Skaro, much like current Earth, and that all are "now" gone save the Kaled and Thaals. The Dal were one of the first to become extinct.
