Japanese athletic-style games shows are becoming popular over here. On our G4 channel, they show Unbeatable Banzuke andNinja Warrior (Sasuke). Both shows are very popular.

I looked it up on tinterweb, it was only won about 3 times throughout the whole series.

watching the ABC broadcast of the Euro championship, I see that they have finally made the move to air the American version of that show here, entitled Wipeout I think. That's just what I needed......another reason to avoid the network offerings, way too little and way too late, though I didn't mind the MXC show on Spike that ran a few years ago.

Japanese talk shows are pretty fun to watch. Our style has remained the stagnent Johnny Carson setup... but thiers is usually comedian hosts with celebrities as they have food cooked in front of them and they eat and discuss all sorts of topics... sounds ghey in words, but much better than the Leno/Letterman talk shows....

I've only seen Takeshi castle in it's MXC form. So, I've never seen a counclusion.
