Well, Biggie, aside from the fact there's already fuck knows how many things at biggie towers that use these effects....I was talking about it's use in Earthquake prediction, which IS, I would contend, a fairly useful thing to look into.
Edel, the thing is, the realy interesting bit, is that we're talking about balls of light appearing dicsonnected from the rocks, like up in the air! Obviously action at a distance is impossible, so there must be some quirky EM field involved.
The documentary I saw this on was a fairly sensible one, hoever the experiment which "demonstrated" this phenomenon, shows what looked less like a small ball of light, and more like a hot fragment of rock being ejected from the crush...but the chap was a proper and well published scientist I belive (if that counts for SHIT these days with so many scientists acting worse than religious fundies).
Come to think of it the Doco may actually have been about Ball lightning, and sort of wandered into UFO's via this rock business.....or it may not, the rock thing is basically the only bit of it that was new to me, and therfore the only bit I filed.
