The new song by Sharleen Spiteri is basically a cover of Out in the Streets by Blondie.

There are, however, three significant differences:

1, Out in the Streets is a wonderful, stripped down track with a wonderful lyrics full of longing and admiration and haunting backing vocals.

2, The new Spiteri track is crap

3, That's it.

You say it like you're surprised.

I think it was on the Radio the other day, I mentally switched off. I would have changed the station, but fucking Tennis was on five live.

Listening to tennis on the radio is the worst idea I've heard of. Especially if women's tennis.

I'm not at all surprised that the new song by Spiteri is crap, but the blatant copying surprises me a bit.

That anyone would listen to tennis has really shocked me, however.

Blatant copying of 70's and 80's songs by today's artists surprises you? Have you not been listening to the radio for the past ten years?
