saw em twice - i think you really have to be in to seeing them to get much out of it, since they can be a bit sleepy. Last time I saw them at Madison Sq Garden, Billy Joel was playing upstairs in the main arena. You could actually hear the crowd jumping up and down and some beats from the show since S.R. were so quiet. Crowd was sleepy too. Wished I was seeing Billy Joel that night- cheesey, but puts on a good show

Saw them at Oxegen 2006. Great live band. See 'em.
aint seen them live but of the album ive got hippipolla is the most emotionally tracks of the last few years

No Liam, Ulster Hall is closed at the minute. Think thats why Primal Scream are playing St Georges Market instead. Going to Ally Pally for Sigur Ros

That is a fucking disgrace. It is one of the best venues in the world.
There is a reasonable chance I may be re relocating to my former stomping ground later in the year and if i cant got to gig in The Ulster Hall then it is a GRAND TRAGEDY.

yeah, they were fantastic. they played as a 12 piece - horns and strings and things to make a girl's heart sing. everyone i was with skipped off to watch interpol on the main stage (along with every other bugger who'd previously been crammed into the tent for blondie) so i was all wrapped up in a blanket on my own. no better way to listen to stuart and friends, i reckon. well, that or smooching with your loved one.
the set was short and (bitter)sweet; most of the stuff was off the hungry saw. 'come feel the sun' was beautiful. i did do a tiny bit of weeping at one point, but that may have been down to sheer exhaustion - they were the last thing i saw all weekend. it was the perfect note to end on.

yeah, i saw them on that tour, think that was their first time playing the uk
saw them again at summercase & they were fantastic. very atmospheric, quite beautiful.
