Did You Hear About the Actor who Played Scotty's Ashes?

They were supposed to be shot into space but the launcher crashed and they didn't make it.

As someone pointed out on the Guardian Website where, amazingly, I just read about this: he was already in space. As we all are.

The ashes of actor James Doohan, who played Montgomery "Scotty" Scott in Star Trek, were lost on the way to space on Sunday morning, when the rocket carrying them malfunctioned minutes after take-off.

I've just realised the title. I remember who played Scotty,but for the life of me can't remember who played his ashes.
