How many takers do you think they'll get for this?

Where would you go back to? I think I'd like to go back to the Free Trade Hall gig that the world and his dog went to. Wouldn't mind having a look around in the Ice Age too.

I do have a theory for this.. if you run around backwards really fast then you could go back in time.. but I always end up falling over!
Thought about going back in time and doing something like writing all my favourite songs,New Order and others, but imagine the consequences of that, for those who actually create that shit? But fuck them
I actually do not want to be famous....What I would do though,is go back to yesterday with all the racing results in my satchel, and put a massive accumulator on.Fuckin right aye!![]()

I bet you were the shits on school sports day![]()
I wonder who actually pays for stuff like this?
As if paying some random bloke $20 is going to make somebody take you forward in time is pure rubbish! ![]()
"If you are not isolated and alone at your pickup , or have asked people from your time coordinate to secretly observe your time relocation. Anyone in the immediate vicinity of your time relocation will not observe anything unusual happening anyway. Your relocation will take place in a quantum reality, and the entity remaining at the pickup point is your original self following your current lifeplan.
Simply put, after pickup and transfer, "two" of you exist in alternate universes. After pickup, your life will continue in the present reality. Your original self will continue in the original lifeplan space/time coordinate. There is no limit to the number of alternate quantum realities available."
I mean, wtf? ![]()

How many did you buy then, Nickos?

Just the two - one for half an hour's time (although I won't know that I've gone forward in time, as it's an alternate reality), and one for my birthday next year! :)

If time travel was possible, then why has no one from the future travelled back in time to see us lot yet?

Maybe we're just no interesting enough ![]()

Same reason aliens don't turn up. If you live in the middle spiral and have built a faster than light survey vessel, do you send it out into the desert of the outer arm where worlds are many light years apart, or in towards the centre where they are light days and often light hours apart. Bit of a no brainer.
The babble Nick posted is actually in line with current scientific theory, and certainly solves the "shooting your dad" paradox. Interestingly, the same quantum "gibberish" that predicts paralell universes etc, also predicts things like the function of semiconductors, so BASICALLY, if your telly or PC work, there pretty much HAVE to be paralell universes.
Besides, everyone knows my old type 40 is the ONLY way to time travel, assuming she feels like going where she's told.

expanding on that & proof of why time travel will never be invented: if time travel existed, all somebody has to do is go back in time & invent the time travel machine earlier & they get all the plaudits/ cash/ kudos/ awards. so to take this to its logical conclusion if time travel was ever to exist then the very first thing ever invented would be the time machine.
My time machine is working fine, I just got back from Led Zeppelin at Earls Court 1975, beer was cheap ![]()
Any where, any when ![]()
Just dashing around at light speed for a bit makes you travel forward in time faster than someone sitting still.
But it's all relative, innit. It's the acceleration to light speed that makes the difference.
All this stuff about parallel dimensions is crap. You just end up a bit further forwards in the same universe, sadly.
Of course it's pointless anyway, you can't go back to tell anyone about it and all of your friends will be a bit older and won't fancy a pint any more.
Teleportation - that's the way forward ![]()

You channeling Douglas from the next universe there?
Actually, you argument would fall down if the human race had evolved into a responsible, intelligent, right minded sort of......naaaah, yer right, we'd have had "the CocaCola Tempotron" before the wheel.
"it is unlikely the time relocation you have purchased will happen in this lifetime, but will occur after you are deceased."
These EULA's just get worse don't they.

i would like take that to continue to release singles with one word titles that win the brit award for best single every other year forever.
as the only time we beat france away at rugby is when this happens.
I was on Magners all night last Sunday and I felt the bed move in a spiral.
Do I win $19.95?

no, you should be fined for drinking that over priced piss water masquerading as the beautiful drink. it's shite. really, do yourself a favour & drink westons or thatchers or the like, but magners/ bulmers/ strongbow - feck off the lot of them
