pretty good choice. biden has a lot of foreign policy experience and he's able to take the piss out of himself on the daily show (a very important quality in my book).

Don't worry, some will always find a negative:laugh:

Funny, Hannity and Limbaugh have been going on about that the Obama team is panicking while his campaign is "crumbling" and that Obama was being forced to pick Hillary to avoid total chaos at the convention and keep from going into a downward spiral. The Clintons are suppossed to disrupt the convention now out of spite and this will destroy the Democrat party. Bizarre the Orwellian comments you can hear on the radio everyday. It is just a convention... they all go there to make some speeches, get some attention, get drunk, get laid, party.

the idea that hillary's supporters are going to disrupt the convention is nonsense. the party wants to show a unified front and the alarmist right-wing pundits are trying to create something out of nothing. many of hillary's 'hardcore' may not like obama, but to cause problems at the convention would only make hillary look bad.

Biden is about as good a choice as could have been made. He's European-American. He's male. He's a hawk by democrat standards. And, he seems to have some backbone. But, he's also a plagarist and has trouble with off color or racially tinged remarks. All of which are very well documented. It will be very interesting if the DNC's water carriers in the MSM will delve into these subjects.

He's also a Roman Catholic that supports abortion rights. Although his website only mentions his support of Roe v. Wade and a "woman's right to choose". Which I've always asked - choose what? To get botox injections? Get all inked up? Have breast augmentation? Drive a car? No, he means ABORTION.

CNN has been covering the hilary problem quite a bit, so its not driven by right-wing pundits, rather the media as a whole... and it is not something out of nothing, as there have already been hilary demonstrations at Obama's rallies that needed to be broken up, not to mention many of the 'hardcore' followers are creating a following. Will most fall-in-line at the booths? most likely, but it isn't going to help Obama one bit to have to fight one front, while trying to appease another.

CNN did a good discussion on this last week saying how the disruption would most likely take place. It won't be riots or through demonstrations, it simply will be by delegates still voting for clinton instead of obama, which is very viable because she never took her name off the ballet, any small number causes a stir of the unification ideals they are trying to construct...
