Oh I'm sure this lot will be a fabulous guide. They'll be able to point out all the key places of the city.....lap dancing bars....whore emporia....coke dealers....the usual viking package tour fair :D

Yes, you're probably right....AND the link doesn't work! 
The tour buses are extremly regular. I should know because I saw enough of them go past as me and Norbert started the drinking early.
Never did get on one though.
Maybe next year! 
The tour bus tours are very good. In fact, I enjoyed the sight-seeing a lot more than Summercase last time I went.
Perhaps I'm just getting old(-er).
one thing that strikes me about Barcelona is how much it looked like Los Angeles . Watch out for the gypsies at las ramblas.

Er, not wanting to sound too Eurocentric but shouldn't that really be the other way around? You could say the same about Santa Barbara......

Never had any problems on Las Ramblas, not that impressed with it though, nice street but filled with tourist tat and living statues.
Football stadium tour is fantastic, try get to a game if there's one on.
Didn't do the tour but Sagrada Familia is OK from the outside not sure I'd mke the effort to go there again.
It's quite odd trying to think of places to go and things to see, there's not that much I find worth specifically mentioning but it's a fantastic city and the best thing about it is simply being there and wandering.

I really liked the parc guell and the beaches..las ramblas is just like any touristic main street.
To expensive, to boring and full of twats pretending to a statue
Go drinking in the barrio gothico and on plaza real..
Such a great place to be this town

One thing about Barca, probably more than most European cities of its ilk, is keep your wits about you. Especially with you being so close to the Ramblas an' all.
It's a mugging hotspot round there, so be wary.
