The little Alfs wanted to see the arachnid today so I checked on the web to see what time it would be walking the scouse streets.......3pm it said....so off we go down the 62........it's sat on the side of a disused office block so we wait, and wait and wait.......only to be told by some bird in a hi-vis jacket that it wouldn't be appearing until 7pm!!!!!!!....WTF...well as you can imagine I gave her what for.........bloody scousers........any trick to get folk into town.........bloody french......bloody,bloody........did anyone see it o'er t'weekend?

I caught it on the news yesterday, it looked very impressive. Wish I'd made the trip over to watch it now.

Think so, it IS a French bunch anyway. Think they're called "La Machine".

I was REALLY impressed with it.....right up until I seen the wheels supporting it :( An actual walking spider would be better......If only so I could hope that one day they'd build a 100Ft, 100MPH tripod and set about gassing and incinerating the south of Engerland.

it's the same folk who did the london elephant, isn't it?

i love the look of that spider. i've been wanting a mechanical spider of my very own for ages and ages - like them off of minority report. one day, it'll happen.
