Although saying that, my MA is from a slightly more advanced institution than Idiotsville Poly.

I'm sticking by it, no matter what circumstances, unless you were in a coma or something for years, fourteen years to do a degree is pathetic and quite frankly, an embarrasment. In this country, any even semi decent Uni would just have kicked you out. And rightly so.

Unbelievable.

It must be hard work being a complete dick ALL the time. :nonono:

You know, if you think that taking fourteen years to get a degree is worthy of some kind of acknowledgement and praise then fine. Just because I have higher standards and dont think degrees should be given out willy nilly does nto make a me a "dick".

I will say this though, if the American Education System is paying for teachers like EdelBrokc, then no wonder the nation is so fucked up.

It's his perseverance despite obstacles in his path that would have stopped most from continuing that makes his degree worthy of acknowledgement.

Well done, Marine! :thumb:

To be fair, Liam, Ed has had a few years where people have been trying to kill him. I know you studied in Belfast for a bit but it was hardly Helmand over there anymore a few years back

Dodjem wrote: Congratulations Edel, it really is an achievement. When I did my HNC and then my BSc Degree, I was working full time and had two part-time jobs. Looking back I have no idea how I did it. I've been considering doing a Masters Degree for a while but not sure if it will really be worth it in the long run. I remember thinking 'never again' when I graduated but I could change my mind.

Dodjem Glutton for punishment

I didn't even know you could spell BSc
