I believe it was released this week. Various reviews are talking it up like a lost talking heads album. Obvious since both men were involved but probably just another case of lazy journalism.

Off topic but what's your view of Mercury Rev , Jonathan? a fan at all? Been listening again to Deserters Songs and All Is Dream this week.Have to be in a certain mood to appreciate them i find.And that certain mood doesn't come often.Didn't buy the last album however.Think they've got a new one out also.They do an awful lot of crap though.

Actually the rest of Deserters is nonsense crap

didn't like it at first listen on shitty speakers but it gradually grew on me. There are a few details about the album on Bob Boilen's podcast at npr.org under All Songs Considered which I thought helped to put it in perspective.
