i am currently enjoying the natural confectionery ads more than anything else in the world.

it started me thinking how the world of advertising is a potentially rich seam to mine. classic adverts, favourite adverts, terrible adverts. anyone?

i would marry that little red gummi bear if i could.

I love that 80s advert where the teenager wants a bike and his Dad tells him he can't afford it, pointing out that the saddle is like a razor blade. Cunningly, when the boy is in bed, his Dad calls the Yellow Pages and buys it. When the spoilt cunt actually gets the bike and rides off his Dad shakes his head knowingly and chickles "I were raaat about that saddle". In fact, he knows fuck all about saddles. His boy can't sit on the seat because his arse is in agony having spent all of the previous day being buggered by one of his father's friends from t'club. Ironically, he's off to see the same friend now, on his new bike. So, ironically, Dad were raat about that saddle being a source of discomfort, just not in the way he though.

I typed raat about saddle into Youtube but it's not on there.

What kind of a world are we living in?

The new one for Country Life with Johnny Rotten is brilliant. I think Rotten is pissing himself with the irony.

Tell him being a Punk is about doing whatever the fuck you want. Lydon has been cashing in for years. Fair play to him.
