guy of gisborne's growing on me too. i am an absolute sucker for some slow-motion striding in a long dark coat though.

Actually, both were good.
It's still not as good as the last two series yet, cos it fell a bit flat after the first one. Still, it has one or two more to make up the ground.
i did watch the second one, yes. had almost a series finale feel about it.
wasn't it the last series that bored me a bit?
maybe it was too penry-centric. ros has been mesmeric in these last two eps.
The only trouble with watching the at BBC3 pace is that we now have to wait two weeks for the finale on BBC1...

and i watched that episode again tonight, and I still reckon its the best one for a long while.
Far better than series 6, it definitely needed the new character coming in. Who's gonna peg it in the last episode? My money's on Malcolm for his insider trading.
I think I saw that Ep 8 is on BBC Scotland on SATURDAY night (ie two days ahead of Eng-er-land), so presumably it'll be downloadable within 30 minutes of it finishing...
